Bringing beachfront holiday home living to life
Some locations really do speak for themselves, and Sandhills was certainly one of them.
We were commissioned to photograph two newly sited holiday homes at a coastal holiday park, creating fresh, on-location imagery for the manufacturer to use across its marketing.
With both homes positioned directly on the beachfront, the setting was a huge part of their appeal.
Our Approach
Our focus was to capture the quality and design of the homes while making sure their incredible coastal location wasn't overlooked.
After all, when a holiday home sits just moments from the beach, the view is part of the experience.
We created a combination of interior and exterior photography, highlighting the living spaces, design details and the relationship between the homes and their surroundings.
The aim was to give prospective buyers a real sense of what it would feel like to spend time there.
The Challenge
One of the biggest challenges was the lighting.
With strong, direct sunlight pouring through the front of the homes, balancing the bright windows and darker interior spaces required careful attention.
We worked around the conditions to retain detail throughout the rooms while still capturing the natural light and coastal atmosphere that made the location so special.
And it certainly helped that we had a beautiful summer's day, even if it was an exceptionally hot one!
The Finished Result
The shoot produced a collection of professional on-site imagery showcasing two beautiful holiday homes in an equally impressive setting.
By combining property photography with lifestyle-led compositions, we created content that highlighted both the homes and the experience of owning a holiday property by the sea.
A brilliant location, stunning homes and a shoot we thoroughly enjoyed bringing together.
